Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters

Easterly flow becomes serly through the day today as a coastal
trough drifts inland. A period of east to southeast flow is then
expected through at least Friday along with a risk of building
southeasterly 5-6 foot swells by Thursday or Friday. The next
cold front is slated to pass through the ENC waters Friday night.
A modest northwesterly wind is this expected Friday night through
Saturday night.
