Currently east-southeast winds 4 to 6 knots on Venice Beach; Incomming tide at 1.3 ↑ ft...(more.) Clearwater beach east winds 8 to 10 knots; Incomming tide 1.6 ↑ ft...(more.) Later on across the region Northwest winds around 5 knots. First Light is at 6:25 am and Sunrise is at 6:51 am. The moon phase is Last Quarter at 55% illumination. Tides just after Last Quarter are know as Neap Tides. Next phase is Waning Cresent.
Surf is down into the night. Wave height 1.0 ft (NE 52°) at the Egmont Channel. Dominant wave period at 2 seconds. Surf stays down over the 16-day forecast period.
