SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS

Foggy conditions have began to develop across the nearshore
waters and the bays, with some locations experiencing
visibilities to less than 1 mile at times. This is expected to
linger through Tuesday morning. Weak to moderate southwesterly
flow will continue through tomorrow morning with a low chance of
light rain. Winds on Tuesday will begin to increase out of the
north in the wake of a cold front traversing the region, becoming
strong to very strong Tuesday night. A Gale Warning has been
issued beginning 21Z Tuesday until 12Z Wednesday for all waters
including the bays. Strong to very strong northerly flow quickly
diminishes to weak flow late on Wednesday. The flow then veers
onshore and becomes moderate Thursday morning. Expect a moderate
(50-70%) chance for rain this weekend becoming a low to moderate
(25-40%) chance early next week, mainly across the offshore
waters.
